[08-May-2018] Solution to Problem 8 from Class

I have prepared a full solution to Chapter 8.2 Problem 8 that we started in class and did not have time to finish. The final Webassign homework due date has also been rescheduled from Wednesday to Friday night to give more flexibility in studying for your final exams.

Grading

     1 Final Exam              60 points

This is an upper-division mathematics class class.  Exams and quizzes 
will be interpreted according to the following grading scale:

    Grade        Minimum Percentage
      A                 85 %
      B                 70 %
      C                 60 %
      D                 50 %

The instructor reserves the right to give +/- grades and higher grades
than shown on the scale if he believes they are warranted.

Final Exam

The final exam will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 7:30 to 9:30am in MS215.
