Software for Numerical Methods I
We will primarily be using MATLAB and Maple in this course.
These programs are available in the
Mathematics Center,
the DataWorks
Lab, and via the UNR
citrix server 1 or
citrix server 2.
Octave is a free software
alternative to MATLAB.
The free GNU C/C++ and FORTRAN
compilers are part of
GNU+Cygwin+Windows.
Another programming language is
FPK free Pascal.

Other software we will discuss in this course is
PAPI
and ATLAS.
